You will need to have a key to open the gates and for those teams that need lights a key will also be needed. (Come to the office to get keys)
I have asked the city to make sure that all light boxes have locks to keep away people who do not have a permit for all of our soccer fields once our season starts.
This morning we already have received our first warning from the City of Vaughan that some teams are leaving garbage on the fields. (Water bottles) They have also said that the gates were left wide open. It is the team's responsibility to make sure that once their practice is completed that the field is left clean and that the gates are locked if you are the last team there.
The City of Vaughan has asked us to take responsibility in making sure that we are helping them in the maintenance and the security of our turf field so that it can remain in its pristine condition for a longer period of time.
If we receive another warning from the City of Vaughan concerning the above items the club will have no other choice but to penalize teams who leave the field a mess and gates wide open.
The club has a list of teams that are using the field so it will not be too difficult to figure out which team is not doing there part to help all us in continuing to have harmonious relationship with the City of Vaughan, our other Vaughan teams and with the our environment.
