2002 Girls - Massimo D'Amato
Vaughan Soccer Club's Under 9 Girls Competitive team, the Vaughan Azzurri Snipers, took home the gold in the Heart of York Tournament held in Newmarket on August 6th and 7th 2011. The 3-1 win in the finals against Innisfil was a great accomplishment for a team that just started playing together in May of this year. The team finished the weekend with 4 wins and a tie scoring 12 goals while only conceding 2.
