The Vaughan Azzurri 1997 Girls A in conjunction with the Vaughan Vixens 97 girls hosted the U-15 Ontario Cup tournament round at McNaughton Turf on June 9th and 10th.
Five teams participated in the weekend with the group winner advancing to the Ontario Cup quarter finals being held this year as part of the Ontario Summer Games.
Both teams represented the Vaughan SC with passion and determination. In the end, the Vaughan Azzurri 97 girls A moved on in the Ontario Cup with 4 victories over the weekend and 0 losses.
The girls now move on to represent the Vaughan SC in the Ontario Games on Aug 16-19 at Centennial Park.
Coaches Peyvand, Tom and Frank from the 97 A girls as well as coaches Domenic and Gianni from the 97 Vixens would like to thank all our parents and friends for the support throughout the weekend!
