1999 Girls - 'A Team' - Vaughan Azzurri Devils - Breagha Carr-Harris

Then we are looking for YOU!

The Vaughan Azzurri Devils, 1999 Girls "A" Team is an established team coached by one of very few all female coaching staffs in the league. Head Coach Breagha Carr-Harris is a former player who grew up in Ottawa playing for a variety of OYSL clubs including the EODA district team. Breagha finished her playing career after 5 years with the York University women's Varsity team which she captained her final 2 years. Breagha has been coaching for over 10 years, 6 at the youth level and 4 as Assistant Coach with York University (placing 7th, 4th and 2nd at the National Championship Tournament). Breagha has returned to coach at the youth level with Vaughan because she is passionate about the development of technically, tactically and physically strong youth female players. Breagha is currently working towards her Provincial B coaching license. As her day job Breagha works for Toronto FC and regularly provides our players with unique experiences.

Britney has been with the team for the last two seasons. A past provincial player, Britney had dedicated herself to sharing her soccer experience with the player of our team. Britney is working towards completing her coaching levels.

Message from Breagha to potential players:

"There is something special about our team. I believe in working hard, stating your goals up front and out loud so that players and coaches are committed to them. We pride ourselves on having a healthy and positive environment both for players and parents. Cliques are not permitted, respect is not an option, there are no "coaches favourites", equal opportunity to start for all and the Team trumps individuals. Coaches expectations are stated up front on ALL topics which helps us maintain our positive learning environment. We believe you as a player must be given the proper tools to feel empowered and must be held accountable in order to achieve your goals.

We are excited about the upcoming outdoor season and are still looking for a few key players who are technically strong, positive attitude and have a desire to take their game to the next level with an amazing group of players and very motivated coaches.
